SYD KITCHEN has been called the Bob Dylan of South Africa, and an Afro-Saxon minstrel. He refers to himself as a singer/song-fighter. SYD visits the US in July for some intimate club performances, including a CD celebration for his new album. Entitled "Fool In A Bubble," the album is his first to be recorded and released in America. It was produced by Keith Lenton (Keith Richards' band, Blondie Chapman) and features musicians from Paul Simon's "Graceland" band. SYD is also the subject of a feature documentary by NY-based filmmaker Josh Sternlicht. The film is also called "Fool In A Bubble."
