Bio
Karen Nielsen is a NYC-based singer/songwriter. She began writing and recording music while attending medical school and during her residency as the creative outlet she needed to keep herself sane during the rigors of medical education. Karen's music is raw, fearless, and passionate, resonating with her personal intensity and quest. Karen has always lived and looked beyond the obvious, forming the basis for her award-winning medical research, and is evident on her debut album, "Animals in the Street."
